About Tomoko

Whatever their needs, we want to help your child be the best that they can be.

While school lays the foundation of education, we believe it's the learning behaviours a child acquires in and outside of school that make all the difference to their academic success.

At Tomoko, we guide your child in all aspects of their learning and help your child harness a range of learning skills that can be applied in an array of learning areas, from infants to senior school.

  • Have missed key areas of learning and need some support to catch up
  • Have additional learning needs

    Chloe Christos

    Founder, Director of Education

Chloe is our founder and Director of Education. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History, Politics and Philosophy and a Master of Teaching in English and History.

She has worked in NSW schools for over 13 years as a classroom teacher and school executive, specialising in gifted and talented education, literacy, teacher mentoring and student welfare and engagement.

Chloe believes firmly that explicit teaching approaches are crucial to improving student outcomes. She sees student wellbeing as central to engagement in all aspects of learning and encourages her students to think about HOW they are learning-the specific skills they need to learn effectively, not just WHAT they are learning.

I see the learning behaviours a child acquires in and outside of school as the key to academic success.
